May 5, 2025 - Northwest League (NWL)
Eugene Emeralds News Release
EUGENE, OR - Shane Rademacher has been named the Northwest League pitcher of the month for the month of April. Rademacher won the Northwest League pitcher of the week award twice on April 13th & April 20th.
Rademacher put together an incredible month in April. He made 4 appearances, with 3 of them being starts. He ended the month with an impressive 2-0 record. He pitched 19 innings and allowed just 7 hits and 1 earned run. He struck out 13 batters and issued 1 walk which gave him an ERA of 0.47 and an incredible 0.42 WHIP.
During the month, from his start on April 13th to his final start of April 25th, Rademacher was able to retire 30 batters in a row. For reference, that would be a 10 inning perfect game.
Rademacher already picked up where he left off with a career high 10 strikeouts on May 1st. He'll look to continue building on what has already been a near perfect start to the 2025 season.
