Seven Winterhawks Invited to NHL Development Camps

Seven members of the 2022-23 Winterhawks roster have earned invitations to NHL development camps, many of which are already underway.

Last week, Luca Cagnoni (123rd overall to the San Jose Sharks) and Carter Sotheran (135th overall to the Philadelphia Flyers) were chosen in the NHL Draft, pushing Portland's WHL-leading all-time total to 148 players selected. Cagnoni and Sotheran join fellow NHL draftees Marek Alscher (Florida) and Chaz Lucius (Winnipeg) at camps this week. Ryan McCleary heads to the New York Rangers as an invitee for this year's camp after previously participating in Pittsburgh's camp(s), while Robbie Fromm-Delorme (Vegas) and Ryder Thompson (Arizona) are each set to participate in their first development camps after earning invites as well.
