
Seven Stampeders Named Western Division All-Stars

(CALGARY) - Today, the Calgary Stampeder Football Club in conjunction with the Canadian Football League announced that seven Stampeder players have been named to the Western All-Star Team.
The Division All-Stars were selected by 51 voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) representing eight CFL markets and a national chapter. For the first round ballot, voters were asked to select players from their local division whom they believed to excel at their position for the duration of the 2006 regular season.
The list includes:
Joffrey Reynolds (Running Back)
Nik Lewis (Receiver)
Jay McNeil (Offensive Lineman)
Brian Clark (Linebacker)
Coby Rhinehart (Defensive Back)
Sandro DeAngelis (Kicker)
Burke Dales (Punter)
Running Back Joffrey Reynolds was a unanimous selection.
The 2006 CFL All-Stars will be announced on Tuesday, November 7 following the final round of voting.
