ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers (4-0) remain undefeated as they hand the Iowa Wolves (4-1) their first loss of the regular season with a 113-92 victory on Tuesday night.
Seven Clippers scored double-digit points on the night, including all five starters, led by Jay Scrubb's 20 points.
Moses Wright (10 points, 10 rebounds), George King (15 points, 12 rebounds) and Shevon Thompson (14 points, 15 rebounds) each collected a double-double for Agua Caliente.
The Wolves were led by Brandon Sampson's 17 points off the bench.
The Clippers were never threatened by the Wolves, facing their largest deficit on the night of six points early in the second quarter. Once they got going, Agua Caliente saw their 14-point halftime advantage inflate to as much as 26 in the fourth quarter and went on to finish the game up by 21.
Next, the Clippers look to stay hot as they take a short one-game road trip to Santa Cruz to take on the Warriors on Thursday night. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. PT inside the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, CA.
