Seth Slavin is named the Ice Dogs Sixth President in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that they have hired Seth Slavin as Team President. He becomes the sixth president in Ice Dogs team history.

Seth Slavin brings over ten years and a wide-range of sports management experience to Long Beach. He served as President of Gameday Sports Management, a full-service sports representation and marketing firm, from 1999 to 2006. As President, he was the chief contract negotiator at the firm. He also supervised all day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to joining Gameday Sports, he was a partner at DBS Sports Management from 1996 to 1999. Seth has negotiated over 50 NFL Player Contracts. Additionally, he has extensive experience in sports marketing and public relations. Prior to working as a sports agent, Seth practiced law in Los Angeles and San Diego.

A native of Chicago, Seth has a Bachelors degree in English from Northwestern University and a law degree from the University of Arizona. He is a member of the California State Bar, the Sports Lawyers Association and the American Bar Associations. As President of the Ice Dogs, he is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Club, including ticket sales, sponsorship, public relations and hockey operations.
