WINNIPEG, MB - Winnipeg Blue Bombers kicker Alexis Serna has been named the Gibson's Finest special teams player of the week for Week 13 of the CFL season.
Alexis Serna accounted for nearly half of the Blue Bombers' scoring in their victory over the Argos on Saturday night. Serna hit 4 of 5 field goals and was good on both his extra point attempts for the game.
Serna was good from distances of 53, 32, 13, and 41 yards. His lone miss came on a 44-yard attempt in the third quarter.
Serna has hit 24 of 28 attempts this season (85.7%). Only the Argos' Justin Medlock has been more accurate kicking field goals this season.
