Saskatchewan Roughrider receiver Andy Fantuz has been named the CFL's Gibson's Finest Canadian Player of the Week.
Fantuz had a number of clutch catches in the Riders 23-20 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday. The Western Ontario product finished the game with a team high seven catches for 71 yards. Fantuz has 29 catches for 394 yards and two touchdowns so far this season despite missing five games due to injury.
Fantuz joins teammates Luca Congi, Stevie Baggs, John Chick and Chris Getzlaf as Rider weekly award winners this season.
