Series Shifts to Kennewick as Ams Host Cougars for Game 3

The Americans will host the Prince George Cougars tonight for Game 3 of their Round One series. The series is currently tied 1-1.

After opening the playoffs with a strong 6-4 victory in Game 1, the Americans narrowly fell 2-1 in overtime to the Cougars on Saturday. Jaxsen Wiebe scored the overtime winning goal 4:52 into overtime. The Anaheim Ducks prospect had one game-winning goal during the regular season.

Adam Mechura opened scoring in the second period with Tri-City's lone goal of the game. The Czechia native is on a six-game point streak, stretching back to the regular season. Tomas Suchanek played in net and turned aside 36 of 38 shots faced.

Tri-City led the regular season against Prince George 3-1-0-0.
