After snapping their 10 game losing streak, Jammers looking to build momentum against Lake Monsters
JAMESTOWN, NY - Things finally came together for the Jamestown Jammers Friday night. The offense pounded out 11 hits, led by Carl Anderson and Kevin Ross, who had two apiece, and starting pitcher, Marek Minarik, turned in a fine performance on the mound (5IP, 2 hits, and only one run allowed).
The Jammers now open up a 3-game series with the Vermont Lake Monsters. The Lake Monsters are coming off of a win as well against the Williamsport Crosscutters, but they currently find themselves in last place in the Stedler division, with an 11-17 record.
Tonight's game will begin at 7:05pm. Gates will open at 6. Don't forget to bring your dog down to the park for "Bark in the Park" presented by Nestle Purina One. There will be a "best looking dog contest," a doggie parade, and there will be opportunities to win many different prizes.
