Series Opener vs. IronPigs Postponed

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tuesday evening's International League contest between the Indianapolis Indians (13-6) and Lehigh Valley IronPigs (7-10) has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Wednesday April 24 at 11:05 a.m, with gates opening at 9:30 a.m.

The four-game set between Lehigh Valley and Indianapolis will now officially begin Wednesday at 11:05 a.m. at Victory Field. LHP Kris Johnson (1-1, 2.81) is scheduled to start for the Tribe and the IronPigs are expected to send LHP Adam Morgan (1-0, 1.42) to the mound.

Tomorrow's doubleheader will feature back-to-back games beginning at 11:05 a.m. In accordance with International League rules, both contests of the twin-bill will be scheduled for seven innings, with the second game of the doubleheader set to begin thirty minutes after the completion of the first contest.

Both of games of Wednesday's doubleheader will be televised on HTSN, Hometown Sports and News, available via cable or over-the-air on digital channel 6.2. The game will also be carried on WNDE.com and via iheartradio, a mobile application for iPhone, Blackberry and Android phones with Howard Kellman and Will Flemming on the call. The pre-game show begins at 10:45 a.m.
