CONEY ISLAND, NY - On Seinfeld Night, donned in new black jerseys, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets, won a roller coaster affair 5-4 to topple the Hudson Valley Renegades in front of 4,156 fans at Maimonides Park.

Jeremy Vasquez drilled a go-ahead solo home run over the right field fence in the bottom of the eighth inning to propel the Cyclones in front 5-4.
Down 2-0, Hudson Valley peppered runs in the third, fifth, and sixth innings to take a 3-2 lead. Pablo Olivares' RBI single in the sixth made it 3-2. After Brooklyn tied the game, Austin Wells delivered a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh to take a 4-3 lead.
Francisco Alvarez launched a 403-foot home run in Brooklyn's two-run second inning to take a 2-0 lead. He later tripled and scored to tie the game 3-3 on Jeremy Vasquez's run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth.

Brooklyn's crowd of 4,156 is the largest home crowd of the season, coming on the seventh Seinfeld Tribute Night.
