Sens Bang out Nine Hits in 4-2 Win over Richmond

The Senators snapped their six-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels Friday night. Harrisburg had a season-high nine hits. Four different Senators had two hits and Luis Reyes tossed 5.1 solid innings.

On Capitol Hill

Luis Reyes tossed 5.1 innings striking out nine. At one point he struck out six of seven batters. Pearson McMahan went 1.2 innings and earned the win, retired all five batters he faced. Gabe Klobosits pitched a perfect eighth and Frankie Bartow pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to earn his second save of the season.

With the Gavel

Cole Freeman, Jakson Reetz, Nick Banks and Osvaldo Duarte all had two hits. Reetz doubled in a run in the first. Banks drove in two with a single in the first. The Senators tallied a season-high nine hits.

Filibusters

Harrisburg struck out a season-high 14 batters. Harrisburg went 3-for-8 with runners in scoring position. The time of the game was just 2:25 Friday night.

The Senators play game five of their six-game series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 5:50 p.m.
