
Senators Send Goaltender Pascal Leclaire to Binghamtonon Conditioning Assignment

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 21, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today sent goaltender Pascal Leclaire to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, on a conditioning assignment.
Leclaire, 28, is in his sixth full season in the NHL. In 14 games this season, he has four wins, seven losses and one overtime loss with a 2.83 goals-against average and .910 save-percentage. He has missed the last 25 games with a lower-body injury.
Acquired by the Senators from the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 4, 2009, along with a second-round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Leclaire played parts of four seasons (from 2002 to 2006) with Columbus' AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, recording 37 wins and 45 losses over 101 games in his only previous experience at that level.
The B-Sens, in fourth place in the AHL's East Division with a 30-20-3-3 record, next see action on Wednesday when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m.
