Crunch Recall Left Wing Brian Lebler

Syracuse, NY (February 21, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled left wing Brian Lebler to Elmira (ECHL).

Lebler, 22, has appeared in four games with the Crunch this season, registering 10 penalty minutes. He made his professional debut during the Crunch's first game of the 2010-11 season on October 8 at Lake Erie. In addition, he has skated in 14 games with Elmira this year, notching three points (2g, 1a) and 38 penalty minutes.

A native of Penticton, British Columbia, Lebler appeared 145 games over four seasons at the University of Michigan (CCHA) from 2006-10, compiling 59 points (33g, 26a) and 216 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on April 30, 2010.

The Crunch continue their five-game home stand on Tuesday, February 22 vs. Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
