The Akron RubberDucks rallied for three runs in the bottom of the tenth inning to beat the Senators 6-5 at Canal Park in Akron Thursday night. Harrisburg had rallied to score three in the eighth to tie the game, then two in the top of the tenth to take a 5-3 lead but couldn't hold the lead and dropped their third straight to the RubberDucks.

Turning Point In the bottom of the tenth, trailing 5-3, Akron's first two batters reach on bloop hits to score a run and put the tying run at third and winning run at second, eventually leading to the winning runs scoring on a single by Bryan Lavastida.

On Capitol Hill Five different hurlers took the mound for the Senators. Mitchell Parker started and went the first four innings. He allowed three runs, two earned, on three hits. Malvin Pena, Carlos Romero and Joel Peguero tossed four scoreless innings. Orlando Ribalta pitched out of a ninth inning jam but couldn't escape the trouble in the tenth and took the loss.

With the Gavel The Senators had just three hits, a Jòse Sánchez double and singles by Yasel Antuna and Leonel Valera.

Filibusters The Senators scored their five runs over two innings with just one hit... Harrisburg went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position... JT Arruda walked twice and now has a 12 game on-base streak... Game Time: 2:27... Attendance: 1,446.

On the Docket The Senators and Akron RubberDucks play game four of their six-game series at Canal Park in Akron Friday at 7:05 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Stations 96.5 FM, 95.3 FM, and 1400 AM beginning at 6:45 p.m.
