
Second-Half Woes Sink Legends

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Texas Legends (6-12) struggled to heat back up after halftime, falling to the Santa Cruz Warriors (9-9) 111-130 on the road.
After leading for most of the second quarter, the Legends found themselves tied up at halftime. The Warriors went on a 19-7 run to open the third and never looked back. Taking their largest lead of the night in the fourth (+23), the Warriors fought off the visitors' comeback efforts, never allowing them within 13.
Taze Moore led the Legends' scoring efforts with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Tyler Dorsey added 19 points, 3 steals, and Grant Riller had 18 points, 4 rebounds, and a game-high 7 assists. Yudai Baba knocked down 3-of-6 outside for 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Tyler Hall came off the bench for 11 points.
Seven Santa Cruz players finished in double-digits led by Lester Quinones with 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Anthony Lamb added a double-double off the bench with 16 points, 10 rebounds.
