
Sebastian Cossa Named McSweeney's Player of the Month for December

Edmonton Oil KingsÃÂ goaltender Sebastian CossaÃÂ has been named the McSweeney's Player of the Month forÃÂ December.
The 17-year-old native of Fort McMurray, AB appeared in nine games, boasting a record of 6-1-1-0 as well as a 1.77 GAA and .932 SV%.
The 6-foot-5.5, 206-pound rookie was also named both the WHL Eli Wilson Goaltending Goaltender of the Week (ending December 15), and the WHL Vaughn Goaltender of the Month for December.
The Oil Kings are on the road for three straight beginning Wednesday, January 8 when they take on the Moose Jaw Warriors at 6:00 PM MT. TheyÃÂ face the Saskatoon Blades on Friday, January 10 at 6:00 PM MT before clashing with the Prince Albert Raiders the next night, Saturday, January 11, at 6:00 PM MT.
They return home to host the Raiders at Rogers Place on Friday, January 17 at 7:00 PM MT. Click here to purchase tickets.
