Next Home Game:
The Hurricanes welcome the Swift Current Broncos to the ENMAX Centre on Saturday at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.enmaxcentre.ca , by phone at 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Centre.
Celebrity Dinner:
The Hurricanes will host their annual Celebrity Dinner on January 25th at Sandman Signature Lodge. The night will feature former NHLer and 'Cane Wes Walz and will be hosted by TSN's Play By Play Announcer Dennis Beyak who is the television voice of the Winnipeg Jets. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,250. More information can be found at www.lethbridgehurricanes.com.
Skate with the 'Canes:
Following their game against the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday, January 11th , the Hurricanes will be holding a 'Skate with the 'Canes' on the ENMAX Centre ice. Fans are told to leave their skates in the vehicles during the game as there will be no skate storage available. All participants will be required to have skates and helmets and can change in dressing rooms 5 & 6 after the game.
New Wall of Honour:
The Hurricanes unveiled their new Wall of Honour prior to their game on January 3rd against the Seattle Thunderbirds. The Wall of Honour, which is presented by Kirks Tire Craft, is located on the west concourse and includes plaques for inductees in the Players, Builders and Legends category along with an interactive screen to view all inductee profiles.
Party Deck:
Full and half Part Decks are still available for Hurricanes home games. Great for a family or work function; half deck includes 20 tickets for $725.00. Contact Dylan or Tamara at 403-328-196 for details and availability.

Friday, January 3rd
- 5-4 OT Loss vs. Seattle Thunderbirds: The Hurricanes had their three-game winning streak end on Friday with a 5-4 overtime loss to the Seattle Thunderbirds at the ENMAX Centre. Chase Wheatcroft, Zack Stringer, Justin Hall and Logan Barlage scored in the defeat.
Saturday, January 4th
- 2-1 OT Loss vs. Calgary Hitmen: Lethbridge was downed for the second straight night in overtime, falling 2-1 to the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday at the ENMAX Centre. The 'Canes lone goal came from Justin Hall in the defeat while Carl Tetachuk made 33 saves.
THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE
Friday, January 10th
- at Calgary Hitmen (7:00pm): The Hurricanes travel to play the Calgary Hitmen at Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday at 7:00pm in what will be the fifth meeting over the last eight games between the two teams. The 'Canes have posted a 2-1-1-0 record in the four games prior this year. Saturday, January 11th
- vs. Swift Current Broncos (7:00pm): The Hurricanes welcome the Swift
Current Broncos to the ENMAX Centre on Saturday at 7:00pm. It will be the third meeting in the last six games between the two clubs. Lethbridge is undefeated against Swift Current this season.
NEWS & NOTES
Second Stint:
The Hurricanes acquired overage forward Brett Davis on Monday in a trade with the Red Deer Rebels. Davis was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft and appeared in 89 career games with the 'Canes collecting 21 points in his first stint with the team. As a result of the trade, the Hurricanes placed overage forward D-Jay Jerome on waivers.
Golden Boys:
Hurricanes players Dylan Cozens and Calen Addison captured gold at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship in the Czech Republic on Sunday with Team Canada. Cozens scored in the gold medal game while Addison collected three assists. The pair combined for 18 points in seven games for the Canadians during the tournament.
Nice Run:
While suffering back-to-back overtime losses on the weekend, the Hurricanes find themselves on a nice run having collected points in five straight games going 3-0-2-0 in that span. The 'Canes are an impressive 6-1-2-0 in their last nine games.
Red Hot:
Hurricanes sophomore forward Justin Hall is on a torrid pace of late. The Edmonton, Alberta product is riding a team-high six-game point scoring streak having collected 10 points (6g-4a) in that span while scoring points in eight of his last nine games. Hall has scored at least one goal in three-straight games and in five of this last six games and six of his last eight.
