(Erie, PA) â The first 1,000 fans attending the Erie SeaWolves opening night on Thursday, April 3, at Jerry Uht Park will receive a full-color schedule poster sponsored by Pepsi and a set of hand warmers provided by the Erie Sport Store. The SeaWolves play the Akron Aeros (Indians) on opening night with a 6:35 PM first pitch.
The SeaWolves are also teaming up with downtown bars and restaurants on Thursday for a "Steak Me Out to the Ballgame" promotion. Several bars and restaurants are offering steak specials and are giving out "2 for 1" ticket coupons for the opener later that night.
The opening night festivities continue right before the start of the game when Erie Mayor Rick Filippi will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The game on opening night is the first of a seven-game homestand for the Wolves to start the season against Akron and the Altoona Curve (Pirates).
Every game beginning April 3, can be heard live on SportsRadio 1330 The FAN.
