
SeaWolves Hold off Senators 6-1

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Erie SeaWolves plated four runs in the second inning and never looked back, defeating the Harrisburg Senators 6-1 Friday night at FNB Field. Erie sent nine batters to the plate, scoring three runs on a home run and then tacking on a two-out run later in the inning. The Senators put the leadoff man on five times in the game but couldn't take advantage until the ninth inning.
The Big Plays
In the top of the third with runners at second and third, Colt Keith hit a three-run home run giving Erie a 3-0 lead. From there, they tacked on three more runs but that proved to be the big swing in the game.
On Capitol Hill
Cole Henry started and went 2.2 innings and allowed four runs on five hits... Garvin Alston followed and pitched well, going 3.1 innings without allowing a run... Malvin Pena followed by allowing a run on two hits in two innings of work... Evan Lee pitched the ninth and allowed a two-out out.
With the Gavel
James Wood tripled in the ninth and scored on a single by Blake Rutherford to account for the only Senators run... Trey Lipscomb had three hits in the game to raise his average to .261 with the Senators.
Filibusters
Harrisburg committed two errors for the first time since May 23... The Senators went just 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position... Robert Hassell, III and Delino DeShields were ejected in the bottom of the sixth inning.

The Senators and Erie SeaWolves play game five of their six-game series Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at FNB Field. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Stations 96.5 FM, 95.3 FM, and 1400 AM beginning at 5:45 p.m.
