Seattle Storm's Adia Barnes encourages fans to take action at fundraising even this Easter

SEATTLE – Seattle fans are encouraged to join Storm forward Adia Barnes and celebrity guests this Easter Sunday, April 11 at Jillian's on Westlake for a celebrity benefit dinner followed by a ‘Spring Bling Party' supporting Adia's nonprofit organization, ‘Adia's Dreams In Action.'

The celebrity benefit dinner will tipoff at 7 p.m. The ticket price for dinner is $35 and includes a raffle with reserve prizes, a celebrity pool challenge and complimentary admission to the ‘Spring Bling Party.' The ‘Spring Bling Party' beginning at 9 p.m., with music provided by DJ DDOXX and 104.5 FM, includes a raffle with reserve prizes, a celebrity pool challenge and complimentary pool and dancing until close at 2 a.m. Tickets for entry to the party may be purchased for $20.

Celebrity guests include: Seattle Storms', Adia Barnes and Betty Lennox; Seattle Sonics', Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis; Houston Rockets', Kelvin Cato, Steve Francis and Cutinno Mobley; Seattle Seahawks, Chris Terry; Cincinnati Bengals', Corey Dillon, Peter Warrick, Adrian Ross and Riall Johnson; Oakland Raiders, Teyo Johnson; Atlanta Falcon, Eric Johnson; Actor/Comedian, Joe Torry; Actor, Khalil Kain; UPN Top Models, Jenascia Chakos and Sara Racey-Tabrizi; and The Miller Girls.

Adia's Dreams In Action is a nonprofit organization designed to assist underprivileged youth who may lack motivation, role models, and encouragement in their lives. The organization focuses on encouraging educational objectives, providing role models from minority communities, providing rewards for those who actively participate in planned activities, and improving the educational opportunities for children in need. Proceeds from this event will provide funding for educational supplies, mentoring programs, free basketball clinics for underprivileged children, and for the "Barnes' Buddies" reading program.
