
Seattle Storm Waives Temeka Johnson

SEATTLE - Seattle Storm President & General Manager Alisha Valavanis today announced that the franchise has waived veteran point guard Temeka Johnson.
"We are thankful to Temeka for her dedication to this franchise over the past two years and we wish her the very best moving forward," said Valavanis. " We are continuing to make long-term decisions as we reconstruct our roster."
Johnson signed with Seattle in February of 2013. Over the past two seasons, Johnson averaged 8.0 points and 3.6 assists per game. She played in 66 games, starting 34, for the Storm.
