Seattle Storm News Release
SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today signed 6-5 center Cisti Greenwalt to a seven-day contract, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan announced. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Storm signed Greenwalt as a free agent earlier this season on May 27. She averaged 2.0 rebounds in four games played for Seattle. Greenwalt was traded to the Chicago Sky on June 29 in exchange for center Ashley Robinson.
Greenwalt was originally selected by the Sacramento Monarchs in the third round (35th pick overall) of the 2005 WNBA Draft and was waived prior to the start of the 2005 WNBA season. She signed a free-agent contract with the Monarchs on Feb. 9, 2006 and appeared in two preseason games this spring, averaging 2.5 ppg, 2.0 rpg and 1.0 apg, before being waived on May 18.
Storm single-game tickets for all remaining 2006 home games at KeyArena are available starting at $14. For additional information on Storm single-game tickets, group tickets or ticket packages, call 206-217-WNBA or log on to storm.wnba.com.
