LAST NIGHT'S GAME Minnesota 70, Charlotte 62 The Carolyn Jenkins era began with the bang Tuesday night as the Minnesota Lynx held its opponent to a season low 27.5 percent from the field en route to a 70-62 win over the Charlotte Sting at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The win is the team's first in Charlotte since Aug. 8, 2000.

Seimone Augustus led four Lynx players in double-figures with 21 points followed by Amber Jacobs with 18 and Nicole Ohlde and Adrian Williams with 10 points apiece. Williams also contributed a team-high eight rebounds to lead Minnesota. Charlotte's Tammy Sutton-Brown led all scorers with 22.

NEXT UP Charlotte at Minnesota - Thursday, July 27, at Target Center (7:00 p.m.) Charlotte center and former Gopher Janel McCarville will make her debut at Target Center in the second game in three days between the Lynx and the Sting.
