SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced Olympic Break schedule for August 2004. The month features several appearances by Storm players and coaches.

The following is a list of activities:

August 14, 2004

Team Shop Autograph session 2-3 p.m. The Sonics & Storm Team Shop is located at 312 1st. Ave. This event is open to public and the media.

Betty Lennox will be available to sign autographs at the Sonics & Storm Team Shop.

August 16-18, 2004

Seattle Sonics and Storm Basketball Camps – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. This event is open to media.

The Seattle Sonics and Storm host basketball camps at the Furtado Center (Sonics & Storm Training Facility). Young fans interested in registering for camp should visit supersonics.com

August 17, 2004

Read To Achieve Appearance, 7-8 p.m., King County Library – Firewood Branch. This event is open to public and the media.

Storm player Alicia Thompson will participate in a Read To Achieve event. Thompson will meet and greet students as they choose books and circulate among the pairings to talk about the importance of reading.

August 18, 2004

Read To Achieve Appearance, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., King County Library – Lakewood Branch. This event is open to public and the media.

Storm player Simone Edwards will participate in a Read To Achieve event. Edwards will meet and greet students as they choose books and circulate among the pairings to talk about the importance of reading.

August 20, 2004

Read To Achieve Appearance, 7 – 8 p.m., King County Library – Lake Forest Towne Center .This event is open to public and the media.

Storm player Trina Frierson will participate in a Read To Achieve event. Frierson will meet and greet students as they choose books and circulate among the pairings to talk about the importance of reading.

August 21, 2004

Team Shop Autograph session 2-3 p.m. The Sonics & Storm Team Shop is located at 312 1st. Ave.. This event is open to public and the media.

Sheri Sam and Janell Burse will be available to sign autographs at the Sonics & Storm Team Shop.
