Kelowna, BC - The Kelowna Rockets today announced details for their annual "Season Ticket Pick-Up BBQ Party" which will occur on Saturday, September 8th at Gate 1 outside of Prospera Place from 12pm-2pm.
The event is exclusive to Rockets Season Ticket Holders, Club Seat Holders, and Suite Owners. A BBQ Lunch with refreshments will be served up by Owner/GM Bruce Hamilton, Head Coach Jason Smith, & Assistant Coaches Kris Mallette, Travis Crickard, and Adam Brown.
All available Rockets players will be on hand, as well as Rocky Raccoon!
Players, and Rocky, will be available for autographs and pictures throughout the entire event!
Papa John's will be on site with FREE Pizza Slices & Doughnuts, plus loads of kids activities including a Bouncy Castle!
Season Ticket holders unable to attend the event on Saturday are able to pick up their ticket packages from the Select Your Tickets box office all day Saturday, or at the Exhibition Game the same night versus the Kamloops Blazers. Regular Box Office hours are 9:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, and 10am-4pm on Saturday's. Those not able to make it down to Select Your Tickets, and would like to make other arrangements, please contact the Rockets Office at 250-860-7825.
All Season Ticket Holders will also receive their 2018-19 Rockets Savings Card! It saves you %10 at our team store "In The Crease", plus the card provides Rockets fans with exclusive discounts at some of our favourite businesses. Also, included in your packages this year are exclusive Team Calendar's, Fridge Magnet's, and more!
Kelowna wraps up pre-season this weekend with a double-header versus Kamloops. The Rockets will first battle the Blazers on Friday night at 7:00pm in Kamloops, then play host on Saturday at 7:05pm.
The Rockets kick off the 2018-19 WHL regular season at home against Kamloops on Saturday, September 22nd at 7:05 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Select Your Tickets box office, over the phone by calling 250-762-5050, or online at www.selectyourtickets.com.
