
Season Closes with Loss to Fort Myers

JUPITER, FL - The Hammerheads' season came to a close on Sunday after a 14-1 loss to Fort Myers. Jupiter finishes the season with an overall record of 50-87. The team finished the second half with a record of 23-44.
Fort Myers started the scoring in the second inning when Stuart Turner hits two run home run to left.
The Miracle would continue the offensive attack of Jupiter starter Cody Crabaugh with a five-run inning in the third. The big inning was highlighted by RBI singles by Max Kepler, Dalton Hicks, Bryan Haar and a two-run single by Tyler Grimes.
Fort Myers would pick up three more in the sixth on run scoring singles by Niko Goodrum and Kepler, along with a sac fly by Hicks.
In the seventh the Miracle would keep piling things grabbing four more runs to make it 14-0.
The Sharks would get one back in the bottom of the seventh when Yosmany Guerra drove home Juan Avila with a single but it was far too late for a comeback as Jupiter's season ended without a bang.
