Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders clinched the Florida State League South Division Championship for the second half of the season, securing a playoff berth for the first time since 2011. This is the third trip to the postseason for the Marauders in five seasons. The playoffs start at McKechnie Field on Tuesday, September 2 when the Marauders host the Fort Myers Miracle in game one of a best-of-three series. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets to all home playoff games at McKechnie Field cost just $1. Marauders season ticket holders can exchange unused tickets from the 2014 season for playoff tickets. Additionally, fans holding tickets from the rained out game on Saturday, August 30 can exchange their tickets for tickets to Tuesday's game. Fans can enjoy $1 specials on regular size Kayem hot dogs, ice cream sandwiches, fountain sodas, and select draft beers.
Game two of the Division Series will be played at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers on Wednesday, September 3. Game three (if necessary) will be played on Thursday, September 4 in Fort Myers. The Miracle clinched a playoff berth by winning the South Division Championship for the first half of the season.
The McKechnie Field ticket office will be closed Monday for the Labor Day Holiday. It will open on Tuesday at noon.
