
Sean Williams Named to All-Defensive First Team

Frisco, TX (April 16, 2011) - The Texas Legends announced today that Sean Williams is as a member of the 2010-11 NBA Development League All-Defensive First Team, as voted on by the league head coaches. This comes after earlier in the week being named to the All-NBA Development League Third Team.
A Western Conference All-Star, Williams was tied for sixth in the league with 19 double-doubles on the season, while averaging 14.4 points per game. His 2.8 blocks per game was best in the league, as his 9.4 rebounds per contests was tied for third best. The first-round NBA draft pick was also fourth best in the league, with a 56.3% shooting percentage.
The Legends starting center was tied with Joe Alexander for most starts on the season with 46, while he sat out just one game all season due to illness.
