
Sea Wolves Sign Drake

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves coach and director of hockey operations Bob Woods announced that the team has signed free agent left wing Lucas Drake.
Drake, 24, joins the Sea Wolves after completing four years at Western Michigan. The 5-foot-10 and 185-pound Drake tallied nine goals, 25 points and 36 penalty minutes in 39 games with the Broncos. A native of Holt, Michigan, Drake will wear uniform no. 28.
"Lucas is a hard-working, hard-hitting guy that brings energy," said Woods. "Drake played with (current Sea Wolves) Anthony Battaglia and Austin Miller at Western Michigan and they say that he'll fit in well with our team."
Drake is expected to make his pro debut with the Sea Wolves at 7:05 p.m. tonight against the Louisiana IceGators at Cajundome in Lafayette. Listen live at 6:50 p.m. starting with the Nextel Pregame Show on WTNI-AM 1640 and online at msseawolves.com.
The Sea Wolves next home game is at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, March 26 versus Louisiana at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Keesler Federal Credit Union has sponsored 2-for-1 military night for the game.
