Sea Wolves Add Forwards Mike Berry, Jeremy Hall

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Monday that the club has signed forwards Mike Berry and Jeremy Hall for the 2008-09 season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Berry spent the 2007-08 season with the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL, recording eight goals and 36 assists in 70 regular season games. The Kanata, Ont.-native split 2006-07 between Toledo and Dayton, scoring 19 goals and 18 assists in 72 regular season games and scoring a goal and two assists in seven Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Bombers. The 5-11, 180-pound right wing began his professional career with Adirondack of the United Hockey League in 2005-06, scoring 27 goals and 26 assists in 72 games and scoring one goal in two games with Binghamton of the American Hockey League.

"Mike Berry impressed me with both his physicality and play-making ability last season when we faced him up in Dayton," said Sea Wolves head coach Steffon Walby. "Jeremy Hall has a great offensive upside and brings a solid two-way game to the forward lines for this season. We're excited to be able to add two players of this caliber to the club."

A native of Mays Landing, N.J., Jeremy Hall appeared in 68 games with Columbia of the ECHL in 2007-08, scoring 16 goals and adding 20 assists. A 5-10, 180-pound forward who shoots left handed, Hall began his professional career with Toledo of the ECHL in 2006-07, appearing in 18 games and earning 11 points (3g, 8a) after completing his collegiate career at Umass-Lowell, where he was a teammate of Sea Wolves forward Jason Tejchma. In 107 collegiate games at Niagara University and Umass-Lowell, hall scored 36 goals and 35 assists.
