Sea Dogs vs. Eagles Weekend Preview

October 30, 2020 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Saint John Sea Dogs News Release

The Saint John Sea Dogs host the Cape Breton Eagles for a pair of games this weekend including a special Saturday afternoon Halloween 3pm start. This will be the first meeting of the two teams this regular season. Game one takes place tonight at 7pm at TD Station.

Saint John will be looking for their second win at home this regular season against a 3-5-0-0 Eagles team fresh off a 10-2 thrashing at the hands of the Halifax Mooseheads. The Eagles currently sit two points ahead of the Sea Dogs in the Maritimes Division standings.

Eagle turned Sea Dog Alex Drover is off to a career best start registering three goals through the first six games of the season and is looking forward to facing his former team.

"After a hard week of practice, the team is prepared for two big wins this weekend. It's always exciting to play your former team, but it feels even better to beat them."

Saint John and Cape Breton met for two games at Centre 200 during the preseason with each team coming away with a shootout win.

Fans can follow all the action on Sea Dogs Radio Presented by TD on CFBC 930 AM or on Rogers TV. The team has also released Terrapure Hockey Bubble Two Packs for all home games this season. Fans can purchase 2, 4 or 6 tickets to a single game by visiting the TD Station Box Office or by purchasing online.
