Portland Sea Dogs News Release

The Portland Sea Dogs along with Hussey Seating and local military support motorcycle groups have partnered to install a POW/ MIA Chair of Honor at Hadlock Field.

The POW/MIA chair is to remain perpetually empty to help people remember that even though our soldiers are not here, there is still a space for them. A portion of the tickets purchased by local military support Maine motorcycle groups was used to pay for the chair.

All of the motorcycle groups will meet at Big Moose Harley Davidson in Portland at 3:30 PM and will have a police escort to Hadlock Field. The motorcycles are expected to arrive at Hadlock Field at 5:15 PM, where they will enter the field through the centerfield gate.

Former POW Leon Tanguay will throw out the ceremonial first-pitch.
