
Sea Dogs to Hold 'Reverse the Curse' Night

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs will try to do what no one else since 1918 has been able to do, end the Curse of the Bambino for the Boston Red Sox! On Monday, May 12th, the Sea Dogs will be hosting "Reverse the Curse" night at the ballpark, sponsored by Gritty's Brewery and Pub. The Sea Dogs will take on the Double-A opponents of the "Evil Empire" the Trenton Thunder at 6:00pm. The game is scheduled as a doubleheader beginning at 6:00pm. The two teams will play two seven-inning games. Tickets dated May 12th are good for both games. The first game will be televised on NESN.
May 12th at Hadlock Field is sure to be a memorable night as the Babe finally sheds the pinstripes and returns to Red Stockings. The Sea Dogs have a variety of skits and promotions involving reversing the curse planned throughout the evening. Make sure you are a part of this historic evening at Hadlock Field as the Sea Dogs do there part to end the Red Sox World Series drought. In addition, the first 1,000 fans will also receive a Slugger bobblehead doll courtesy of Bear Tubular Industrial.
