Sea Dogs Partner with Country Kitchen to Donate Tickets to Youth

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs and Country Kitchen are pleased to announce the continuation of the Country Kitchen and Lepage Bakeries Bread Box program for the 2011 season. The "Country Kitchen Bread Box" provides nonprofit or youth organizations with 20 complimentary General Admission tickets to each of the Sea Dogs' 70 home games during the 2011 season.
"Helping to support our greater community is a longstanding tradition at Lepage Bakeries. We are very proud and excited to be part of the Sea Dogs' Bread Box program and the great enjoyment it will give to so many kids," stated Andy Barowsky, CEO and President of Lepage Bakeries.
Deserving youth groups, schools, teams, and organizations that benefit youth in the community are eligible. Additionally, all 501 C 3 non-profit organizations are eligible. Groups attending games courtesy of the "Country Kitchen Bread Box" program will be recognized at the game with a public address announcement.
The "Country Kitchen Bread Box" tickets will be given out to qualifying programs on a first-come, first-serve basis. To check on availability or request a game, please contact Liz Riley at 874-9300 or log on to www.seadogs.com and click on the "Community" tab.
The 2011 season marks the third year of the "Country Kitchen Bread Box" program at Hadlock Field giving thousands of local youth and non-profits the ability to enjoy a Sea Dogs' baseball game.
The Sea Dogs' season runs from April 7th through September 5th and consists of 70 regular season home games at Hadlock Field. The Sea Dogs are annually one the most attended minor league franchises in the country and are the sixth most attended sports franchise in New England.
The 2011 season is the Sea Dogs' 18th season in Portland and ninth as an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Tickets for all 2011 Sea Dogs' home games are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or on-line at www.seadogs.com.
