Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will open the 2011 season with a seven game homestand at Hadlock Field beginning on Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM against the Reading Phillies. The first homestand has plenty to offer fans with three giveaway days, an appearance by New England Patriot's Tight-End Rob Gronkowski, and a visit from the New Yankees affiliate; the Trenton Thunder.
