The Saint John Sea Dogs (7-6-0-2) will be taking on the Shawinigan Cataractes (10-3-0-2) tonight at TD Station. The last time the two teams met was last week on Saint John's first Quebec road trip, and the Sea Dogs came out on top, winning 4-2 against the then ranked first team in the QMJHL.

Since their last meeting, the Cataractes have dropped to second place. Their leading scorer, Xavier Bourgault, also leads the league, with 25 points. He is followed by Olivier Nadeau, tied for first in goals in the league with 12.

Sharing that lead, is Sea Dog William Dufour, who also leads the Sea Dogs in points with 23. Following him are Linemate Brady Burns with 18 and defenceman Jeremie Poirier with 16. On the Quebec road trip, Poirier tied the Sea Dogs record for most career goals by a defenceman with one goal in their game against Shawinigan.

The puck drops at TD Station at 7 PM, doors open at 6 PM.
