The Saint John Sea Dogs (27-15-1-3) are on the road to take on their rivals, the Moncton Wildcats (21-16-5-1) tonight at 7 PM.
The teams last met on February 27, when the Sea Dogs came out on top 8-1, including a four goal night from William Dufour.
Saint John played last night in Charlottetown, defeating the third place Islanders 2-1 in a tight matchup with goals from Ryan Francis and Josh Lawrence. This was the Sea Dogs' sixth straight win.
Moncton also played last night, losing 5-3 to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Goals for the Wildcats were scored by Yoan Loshing, Vincent Labelle, and Brooklyn Kalmikov and netminder Vincent Fillian put up a 37 save performance in the loss, earning himself the third star.
