Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
The Saint John Sea Dogs (34-17-1-3) will continue their back-to-back against the Cape Breton Eagles (13-33-4-3) at Centre 200 this afternoon at 3 PM.
The teams met last night, with the Sea Dogs coming out on top in a shootout win. Charlie DesRoches and former Eagle Ryan Francis scored in regulation for the Sea Dogs, while former Sea Dog Nicholas Girouard scored both goals for the Eagles.
Philippe Daoust and William Dufour both scored on their shootout attempts and Nikolas Hurtubise stopped both attempts by the eagles in the 3-2 win.
