Sea Dogs Announce 2009-10 Season Ticket Holder Grand Prize Details

SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs Manager of Ticketing Shanna Aker announced today the details of the team's 2009-10 Season Ticket Holder Draw Grand Prize. At the final home game of the season, two fans will win a trip for two to Toronto, ON, complete with airfare, accommodations, and tickets to the March 20 Maple Leafs - Canadiens game at the Air Canada Centre (seats courtesy of Coast Tire.) A pair of passes to the Hockey Hall of Fame will also be provided.

Throughout the first 30 home games of the season, five randomly-selected Season Ticket Holders will advance to the second round of the competition, with an elimination draw being over the course of the subsequent three games. At Saint John's regular season finale (Sunday, March 7, 2010 vs. Halifax), the remaining contestants will appear at centre ice during an intermission where the two winning fans will be revealed.

Ms. Aker also announced today that two new benefits have been added to all Sea Dogs Season Ticket Packages. All Season Ticket Holders will now be able to enter a draw which will afford a limited number of applicants the opportunity to meet with a member of the Sea Dogs coaching staff prior to all Friday night homes games this season. Fans will be shown the Sea Dogs' game plan for the match in question and be able to ask questions following the coach's presentation. Winning fans will be selected at random, with applications available at the Sea Dogs office at Harbour Station and Sea Dogs Central during all regular season home games.

Season Ticket Holders will also now receive a discount of 20% (double their normal 10% merchandise discount) on the new-look Sea Dogs Reebok Edge Jerseys which will be available for purchase as of September 9. This offer will be valid until October 1 only.

The Sea Dogs (3-1) will host the Lewiston MAINEiacs (3-1) in QMJHL pre-season action on Tuesday, September 1 at 7:00pm. Tickets to this match are available by calling the Harbour Station Box Office at (506) 657-1234.
