Sydney-The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have traded forward William Cochrane (1993-09-19) to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in exchange for the Titan's 6th round pick in the 2013 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's midget entry draft.
Cochrane, 18, was the Screaming Eagles 6th round selection, 99th overall in the 2010 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League entry draft. The Blainville, Quebec native scored six goals and added four assists in 34 games last season, while in 38 games this year Cochrane has managed to score six goals and add three assists.
Cochrane will face his former team mates on Friday night as the Screaming Eagles visit the Titan in Bathurst.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's trade period ends at 1:00 pm Atlantic Standard Time on Saturday January 7th.
