
Halifax and Quebec pull off major move

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, January 5, 2012 - Several clubs made moves on Thursday.
After sending a first round pick in 2012 to Quebec in return for a second round pick in 2012, the Halifax Mooseheads traded Gabriel Desjardins (92-11-09) and two second round picks in 2012 to the Quebec Remparts for Brendan Duke (93-05-11) and a first round pick in 2012.
In another move, the Screaming Eagles sent William Cochrane (93-09-19) to the Titan for a sixth round pick in 2013.
Finally, the Voltigeurs traded Brayden Wood (94-06-28) to the Wildcats for a sixth round pick in 2013.
