
Scrappers Trounce Doubledays, 12-1

Mahoning Valley Scrappers News Release
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers came from behind tonight to beat the Auburn Doubledays 5-4 and win their third consecutive game.
Tyler Cannon's two-RBI double in the top of the ninth inning proved to be the game winning hit for the Scrappers.
With the win, the Scrappers improved to 5-5 on the season while the Doubledays fell to 5-5. Takafumi Nakamura came in from the bullpen to pick up his first professional win pitching three scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out three. Travis Garret was saddled with the loss for the Doubledays.
