February 16, 2005 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF)
Evansville BlueCats News Release
The Bluecats are excited to welcome veteran Scotty Stewart back to the family. Scotty proves to be a valuable leader on and off the field to his younger teammates.
"The quarterback of our defense will return for another year with the Bluecats." Says Coach Ollie Guidry. "Scotty's really working hard this off-season to make this his best year ever. I sent all the players that have signed my 61 page off-season workout program and Scotty's doing a fine job of keeping with this intense program."
Last season, Scotty played in all 14 games. Having made 45 tackles and 3 interceptions, he was one of the top defensive players for the Bluecats in the 2004 season. Scotty gained previous indoor experience with the Tennessee Thundercats of the IFPL. Now going into his fifth year should prove to be key in the Bluecats defense for the 2005 season.
