
Otis Shannon's Here To Play In 2005

Otis Shannon has signed to play for the Evansville Bluecats National Indoor Football League team for the 2005 season.
The 2000 Indiana Mr. Football, who played his High School Football at Indianapolis Cathedral, holds the Indiana High School career rushing record with 7,530 yards. Shannon led Cathedral to State 4A Championships in 1998 and 1999. He played at Harper Junior College in the Chicagoland area in 2001-2002. He won numerous awards as a prep star at the local, state, and national level.
"Otis Shannon is a phenomenal athlete and I'm excited to have him signed and committed to play for me next season." Says Coach Ollie Guidry, "He's the kind of athlete you just need to get the ball in his hand and let him go to work. After spending some time with him I realize he's a passionate person and committed to playing football here in Evansville."
