
Bluecats Welcome New General Manager

Evansville BlueCats News Release
The Evansville Bluecats have named Mike Skvara as the General Manager of the National Indoor Football League Team. He is replacing Joy York and Brad Benic.
Skvara, who was responsible for statistics and on field support personnel in the Bluecats first season, has experience in sports, management, sales,and media.
He is currently a sports announcer for WGBF 1280 AM broadcasting local high school football games. Skvara is a former high school football coach and teacher and has an extensive background in insurance and real estate sales and management.
He has served his church and community in numerous service activities. While in college, Skvara was part of the Indiana University football program. He is a longtime sports statistician and has been a TV sports broadcaster and freelance sports writer for various newspapers and sports magazines.
Skvara has a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Purdue-Calumet University. He is married to Ann and has three daughters and a son.
