Scorps Offer Youth, Senior And Military Discount

The Scorpions have listened to the fans requests and will offer youth, senior citizens and military a ticket for only $7. The ticket is available for any Scorps home game and is located in the End Zone or Family Zone.

Youth is considered any individual under the age of 18. Seniors are those over the age of 60. Anyone holding a valid Military ID will be given the military discount.

The tickets can be purchased in advance with a group order or at the box office the night of the game. All patrons may be subject to show ID proving their age or military status when buying the ticket and/or entering the arena. This specially priced ticket is over 50% off the gate price.

Call the Scorpions office at (505) 881-PUCK for more information. These special priced tickets are not available online or other ticket outlets. They must be purchased through the New Mexico Scorpions office or the Santa Ana Star Center Box Office.

The Scorpions will continue their home stand with a pair of weekend games against Austin. Friday, three fans will have the chance to win a TV courtesy of Wal-Mart. Those not able to make it to the game can hear it on 610 The Sports Animal or watch it on the CHL Network starting at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the Scorpions will honor those serving in public safety with the annual "Salute to the Badges Night." Come out to see who wins the Badges Cup as the police and fire battle in different contests. Prior to the Scorpions game, there will be a police vs. fire hockey game starting at 4 p.m. Both Scorpions home games this weekend start at 7:15 p.m.
