Habitat for Humanity is a local charity providing affordable housing for families who would not otherwise qualify for home ownership. Supported by private donations, volunteer labor, "sweat equity" of homeowners, and government funding, homes are sold to low-income families at no profit, with zero interest mortgages.

The first Tip a Bee Night in November helped raise over $4000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The goal for the upcoming event is $7000.
