Scorpions single game tickets on sale Monday

[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]- The New Mexico Scorpions, proud member of the Central Hockey League (CHL), will begin selling single games tickets Monday, Oct. 16. Fans can buy their tickets for the first eight home games including the inaugural game at the Santa Ana Star Center on Friday, Oct. 27.

The Scorpions will end the hockey drought in New Mexico when the expansion Arizona Sundogs invade the Scorpions new home. The Scorpions will hold a Pre-Game Fiesta starting at 5:00 PM in front of the Santa Ana Star Center on Oct. 27. Kids will enjoy face painting and everyone will enjoy the music and other festivities.

All fans attending the home opener will receive Thunderstix courtesy of Santa Ana Star Casino. In addition, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will be given a free coupon for the commemorative puck compliments of Santa Ana Star Casino. The game begins at 7:35 PM. Fans are reminded to not be late, as there will be special pre-game ceremonies and introductions commemorating the night

Tickets can also be purchased at all GetTix outlets including the Santa Ana Star Center Offices located at 4100 Southern Blvd., Suite 23 in Rio Rancho, the Santa Ana Star Casino or Pack 'n' Mail, 4801 Montano Road in Albuquerque.

Starting Oct. 21 fans can also stop by the Santa Ana Star Center box office between 10 AM-6 PM to get their seats for all Scorpions' home games. Fans are reminded flex ticket packages are still available and start as low as $40. Groups and birthday parties are also encouraged to take in a Scorpions game at the Santa Ana Star Center. Call the Scorpions office at 881-7825 to book your flex and group packages.
