Bees add to game night promotions

Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced additions to their promotional schedule for the 2006-07 hockey season.

The Bees have teamed up with Jack-in-the-Box to give fans a free Jumbo Jack whenever the Bees score four or more goals. Simply bring a ticket stub from the game to any Valley-wide

The Killer Bees also announced the ESPN Radio 1240 Killer Bees Extra show, an extended post-game show in the Dewars 12 lounge after most home games. Join Rich Bocchini, Tony Forina and the Killer Bees coaching staff and players as they discuss the ins and outs of that night's game.

The team will also host the Killer Bees Fanatics show at Fanatics (inside Valley Bowl, Business 83 in Mission) on Monday nights from 6-7 p.m. Come enjoy drink specials while getting to know your Bees in a fun, laid back atmosphere.

"Accessibility to our players and coaches is a big reason our fans are so loyal," said Killer Bees General Manager Grant Buckborough. "The extended post-game and weekly Fanatics show are more opportunities for our fans to learn more about our team and get to know the guys on a more personal basis."

Individual tickets for the Bees preseason game on October 17, as well as all regular season games, are on sale now. Tickets are available at the Dodge Arena Box Office, online at killerbeehockey.com, and by phone at 866-RIO-TIXX. Tickets can also be purchased at The Boot Jack Valley Wide, Valley Yamaha, Melhart's Music Center, Lionel's Western Wear Weslaco, or Lone Star National Bank.
